Learn the secret language of the body on HISTORY TV 18

January 11, 2012

Actions speak louder than words. This eternal truth might sound like a cliché but the maxim continues to prove itself time and time again when applied to Body Language. Body language is an important tool to interpret regular gestures, physiological signs, postures, and facial expressions which reveal a lot of what a person is trying to say. These are decoded in a special 2 hour episode titled “Secrets of Body Language”.

Gestures, facial expressions and body movement compose 93% of our daily communication and only a fraction of around 7% is spoken through words. In this special show, video clips of events in political and pop culture history are deconstructed by a group of experts. These experts analyze the body language of hard-to-decode celebrities and decipher secret codes of verbal and non-verbal cues.

From President Franklin D. Roosevelt to British Prime Minister Winston Churchill to the 2008 President-elect Barack Obama and Senator John McCain, learn how politicians and celebrities use their subtle movements of body language to persuade masses, establish power and advance careers without anyone having a clue as to what’s going on.

“Secrets of Body Language” will reveal everything people say without uttering a word. Learn the secret on History TV 18.

Premiering on HISTORY TV 18 on Wed (11th January) at 7 p.m. and Saturday (14th January) @ 4pm
